Ola Khawasik
My Story
With extensive experience in community development, Ola Khawasik is dedicated to creating spaces where people feel empowered, connected, and inspired to shape their futures. Her strong background in science and research adds a sharp analytical lens to her work, helping her design initiatives that are both creative and anchored in strong methodology.

She blends storytelling, Social Presencing Theater, mindfulness, and nature-based practices to spark healing, self-discovery, and collective action.
At PLEDJ Canada, she serves as Director of Community Practice and lead facilitator of the Agents for Social Change training program, where she is responsible for student engagement and works alongside newcomers, refugees, and migrant families to build leadership, strengthen community organizing skills, and inspire participants to drive meaningful change in their communities.
